Rugby is the third most participated in sport today. This is owed to the fact that all you need to play are a pair of boots and a love of sport. Even learning the game is easier than you think, most players claim that it really consists of 5 basic principles. The rest comes after a few games.
Rugby proves itself to be more than just a game; the lessons learned on and off the field will stay with you forever. There are few things more rewarding than being a member of a team, and rugby offers you this experience.
The SRU has recreational teams all over the province for girls, boys, men and women of all ages. We also have high performance provincial teams for U16 boys, U18 boys, U21 boys, U 17 girls, U19 girls, Senior Men and Senior Women. These teams compete in various leagues, tournaments and national championships.
But
the Saskatchewan Rugby Union offers much more than just a chance to play the
game. Team clubhouses are a great place to socialize before and after the games.
The clubhouses offer a television, pool table, and restaurant supplied with
food and drinks.
The Saskatchewan Rugby Union works hard to make the rugby fields your home away from home. So this year give it a try
