North Sask Junior Rugby hosted their annual Junior Rugby Days for youth 12-18 on April 9th and 10th in Saskatoon, SK. Hosted at Sasktel Soccer Centre, close to 100 youth and 10 coaches attended the two-day rugby skills camp. This year, North Sask Junior Rugby was proud to collaborate with Rugby Canada as we hosted Paul Hunter, the national manager of Coach Development. He put the athletes through many fun and high-pace drills and games, which saw rookie and veteran players alike grow throughout the weekend. It was an important clinic for coach development as well, as many coaches remarked on the rugby-specific drills and activities that they would be trying in their own trainings. This event is always an important kick-off to our high school season, and this year was no exception as we kicked-off 2016 with a very successful weekend.
