Saskatchewan Rugby is happy to announce the dates for 2018 President Cup.

In 2018 TWO President Cup matches will take place, one for the senior men and one for the senior women will take place on Sunday June 3rd which is the final day of the High School Provincial Championships.

The President Cup was initiated in 2017 to be a showcase of the level of Senior Men’s Division 1 club rugby in Saskatchewan.  The main intent is for the competition to be representative of the status of the NSRU and RRU Division 1 sides during the competition year.  It is a great opportunity for both the Men and Women to represent their club and subunion.

A policy around club nominations and selections is in its final stages of development.

Prairie Super League – Senior Men

A new Senior Men competition will also kick off this summer and is a prairie wide series of games between Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatchewan and Manitoba representative teams.

The format will be a round robin competition with no final. Winner would be decided on league points, points for and against etc.  This would eliminate the significant flight costs, cut down on accommodation costs and requires no cost share.
