It was a noteworthy final performance for the Saskatchewan 7s team at the  2019 U18 Western Championships on February 18, as the squad defeated Team BC for the first time in history to claim the bronze medal. 

In women's action, Saskatchewan won their final game of the competition against Manitoba.
